March Commute

So I try to power through some tracks on my phone on the ride to work. Not sure if I'm missing out on some good ones since I like being hooked by a good intro. I've barely skimmed the surface so these crits are superficial at best.

The Fatty Acids Astrovan // Got me tapping my foot in the first second. Not sure why I gravitate towards songs involving clapping. Great embarking song.

Tune-Yards Bizness // Intro had me curious to see what was next. Bass line kept me listening.

The Bird Day Colors // Love the repeating chimes throughout. Liked walking through the city with this one on.

Opus Orange Crystal Clear // I knew this song sounded familiar! Look out for Opus Orange - super catchy-happy. Check out "Almost There" from the Blalocks oct mix if you want to smile big. I want to try playing this in the morning.

The New Division Festival // I felt like I was a kid at a festival. Just saw the giant rides and lights for the first time.

Lesands Glowing // Easy pickup intro. Would want to people watch to this one.

Banjo Or Freakout Go Ahead // Ethereal. I imagine masses and masses of people walking to work. Pretty Grand.

Toro Y Moi Got Blinded // ...toro y moi.....

Computer Magic Grand Junction // Not usually a fan of these, but...brought me back for some reason

The Altieri Hanging on a Hook // Brit. Into the baseline and peppy riffs.

that's all for now.
